Disadvantaged Business Enterprises

PART has established a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program in accordance with regulations of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), 49 CFR Part 26. PART encourages contractors and vendors to contact us with information regarding services and products and to participate in available procurement opportunities.

DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISE GOAL
FISCAL YEARS 2024, 2025, 2026

Notice is hereby given that Pottstown Area Rapid Transit, (PART) has established a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Participation Goal in accordance with the U.S. Department of Transportation Regulations at 49 CFR Part 26. PART’s goal for DBE participation for Federal Fiscal Years 2024-2026 shall be (0.65%) of funds expended in the U.S. Department of Transportation assisted contracts.

A copy of the DBE Program and Goal Setting Methodology is available for inspection beginning December 6, 2023 at Borough Hall, 100 East High Street, Pottstown, PA 19464 from 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday – Friday or on the website, www.pottstownarearapidtransit.com.  The Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Liaison Officer (DBELO) will receive and consider public comments on the proposed goal methodology until January 20, 2024. Comments may be submitted in writing to the DBELO at the above address, or via email to takepart@pottstown.org.
