Fares Increase Beginning July 1, 2014

On July 1, 2014, new fares took effect as follows – Adult: $1.90; Student: $0.95; Disabled: $0.95; Transfer: $0.55; Paratransit: $3.80. Seniors over 65 with valid Transit ID or Medicare Card still ride free, and the fare for children under fare box height remains the same (first two ride free with full-fare paying adult, each additional child $0.25).

Multi-Ride Passes are available for purchase!

PART Full Fare, Half Fare, and Multi-Ride Passes are available for purchase in the Finance Department of Pottstown Borough Hall, 100 E. High Street. Passes are valid for 10 rides. Full Fare passes are $17.00. Half Fare passes are $8.50. A Reduced Transit Fare card must be presented to purchase the Half Fare pass. Multi-Ride Passes must be presented to the bus driver and will be retained upon use of the 10th ride. PART is not responsible for any lost or stolen passes. Revised Bus Stops on East End Loop via North End

Two bus stops have been added to the East End Loop via North End route. After the bus stops at the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center, the bus will pick up passengers at Burger King on High Street, and the Nagle Center on Moser Road. These stops will replace the stop in front of Dunkin Donuts on High Street. The bus will continue on the route to Hillside Apartments and Home Depot. Street Sweeping may cause delays

Arrivals and departures may be slightly delayed beginning on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 due to street sweeping within the Borough of Pottstown. Please allow extra time when travelling to and from your destination. We thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Take Note

PART is now charging for replacement reduced fare and senior citizen bus passes. The first replacement card will be issued at a cost of $5.00. Any additional replacement cards will cost $25.00
